This January I’m attending a workshop with Berlin video artist Merit Falker at the Danish National School for Performing Arts. Being a novice it is very reassuring to experience that this field is very much about experimenting, exploring and finding your own way. As Merit says, there is nothing “new” about working with new media, the technology advances but the principles are the same. You must have an idea – the rest will follow.
